The Mara Dyer Universe includes the Mara Dyer Trilogy (The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, The Evolution of Mara Dyer, and The Retribution of Mara Dyer) and the Shaw Confessions (The Becoming of Noah Shaw and The Reckoning of Noah Shaw with more books to be added).
The Universe follows Mara Dyer and Noah Shaw as they discover the fact that they have special abnormal abilities. In the Mara Dyer Trilogy, the books are in the first-person viewpoint of Mara Dyer, a 17 year old who moves to Florida after a freak accident that left her alive and a friend, a best friend, and boyfriend dead. When she starts her attendance at her new preppy, private school, she meets a mysterious boy named Noah. In some ways, while Mara is trying to deal with PTSD from the accident and trying to recall what happened, Noah seems to know her more than she does at the moment of her recovery. Mara and Noah soon fall for each other and go on an adventure in which the main goal is to learn more about that night of the accident and what she has become.
The Shaw Confessions follows Noah's viewpoint after the events of the Dyer Trilogy. When Mara and Noah travel to England to attend a funeral, they witness the beginnings of a weird series of events in which other teen's with abnormal abilities like theirs are going missing and committing suicide, and Noah can see their last memories, all of them being the fact that they did not want to die. Mara and Noah then travel to New York to meet up with more characters first met in the Dyer Trilogy in order to find out what is happening to teen like them before it does happen to them.
